"Someone once said that our memories are one of the things that are really important in life. If that is true then my memories of the 5-day tour that we took with you will rank right up there with other important events.

As the publisher and editor of a motorcycle travel magazine I have plenty of opportunities to enjoy some of the best motorcycling opportunities that exist anywhere and I can tell you that your Colorado High Road Tour was the most fun, the best riding, the most stunning scenery and the best organized group ride that I have ever participated in.

The places you chose for the overnight stays were, without exception, delightful and unique. There is something so pleasing about staying in places that have histories that are over 100-years old. It was like being able to reach back and touch a little bit of the old west - the days of gold strikes, mining, cowboys, saloon girls and sheriffs.

The places you selected for the evening meals just kept getting better each night. Being from Texas I am particular about Mexican food but the dinner in Florence was outstanding. In Leadville, the only question was how big do you want your filet and how do you want it cooked? In Steamboat, the Chipotle Salmon was exquisite. Chef Renee outdid himself the next night with the choices offered at his old world restaurant with a dining experience straight out of Switzerland and Austria. The final farewell dinner at The Fort was delicious beyond comprehension.

For anyone who wants an up close and personal Colorado experience that crams more into a few days than they could stumble across in a month, I heartily recommend Turkey Creek Tours. It was a vacation packed with excitement, wrapped in incredible roads and topped with views of what is truly God's Country.
