Happy 2007. Here's hoping your holidays were festive and that the New Year holds all good things for us all.
Here in Colorado, we are deep in winter and deep in snow. This has been the snowiest season we've seen in many, many years here and it has
curtailed our riding a bit but we are still getting out. From talking to folks on the east cast, winter has not arrived yet and there are plenty of warm days to ride. Our February tour in Mexico is coming up fast and we are looking forward to leaving the snow behind for a little while.
Valentine's Day Promotion

Sign-up two people for any of our Colorado or Mexico tours by February 7th and not only get a $200 to $250 discount but we'll send a Valentine's Day bouquet of roses. Tom's Big Adventure
Florida to Colorado in December
At the end of November, Tom bought a bike on E-bay in Florida. How to get it back to Colorado? Easy,
fly out and ride it home. You can read about the trip and the a review of the Gerbing Extreme heated clothing on Tom's blog page and in an upcoming edition of Motorcycles: On the Road Again magazine.
Don't forget, the magazine is sponsoring our June 30, five-day High Road Tour. There are still openings but we are filling up quickly.
Women in Motorcycling
We offer a woman focused ride in our Grits to Glitz tour, sponsered by the Woman's Motorcycle magazine,
Biker Ally. (bikerallymag.com) Women are the fastest growing segment of the motorcycling industry and now
comprise about nine percent of all motorcyclists. A Google search on "Women in motorcycling" shows
over 15,000 entries out there.
Harley-Davidson has an extensive section on their website expressly for women riders and is actively targeting this
segment of the market. Other manufacturers seem to be lagging behind. While offering a large inventory of
accessories for women, their websites lack any special focus on this market segment. You can bet this will be changing.
Kawasaki for one is actively seeking women riders with bikes such as the 900 LT with a low seat height and lighter
weight. We are also seeing more and more books by and about women riders. Check out Jasmine Bluecreek Clark's book
Women in the Wind, featuring
stories of fearless women riders.

Motorcycle Clubs
Motorcyclists are a pretty gregarious bunch and have been getting together in motorcycle clubs ever since the industry began.
Most clubs are engaged in some sort of community service or charity work along with riding and we want to support their efforts.
To that end we have started a program that donates a portion of a club's group tour cost to the club's target charity.
Call us for details on this exciting program
